TryKaam is built by Zaid and Ben. One of them lived through it. Both of them got tired of watching workers suffer.
Why we’re building this
The problem
In Ernakulam, most short-shift hiring goes through a middleman. A worker does the job, and the middleman takes a cut. Often around 20%. Sometimes up to 50%. The money comes days or weeks later. Businesses have no easy way to find workers directly either. Everyone loses except the middleman.
What we’re doing
We connect businesses and workers directly. A business posts a shift, a worker applies, and both sides know exactly what they're agreeing to before anything starts. For now, we're offering TryKaam for free while we get started. No middlemen, no mystery cuts, no waiting weeks for your money.

We’re not a generic platform dropped into a new city.
We live here. We know which months get busy, which jobs are always in demand, how businesses actually hire and how workers actually find work. TryKaam is built around that, not around how some generic platform thinks it should work.
We’re starting with one city because we want to get it right. If we can’t make workers’ lives better here, we have no business going anywhere else.
