Terms of Service

1. Service model

TryKaam is a pilot-stage short-shift staffing marketplace operating in Ernakulam, Kerala. The platform uses WhatsApp-first interactions to connect workers looking for short shifts with employers who need flexible, same-day or short-notice staff.

2. Accounts and roles

• One phone number can hold one account role at a time — either worker or employer.
• Role changes require admin approval.
• Admin accounts are internal to TryKaam and separate from worker and employer accounts.

3. Employer approvals

Employers may submit profiles and create job listings before receiving approval. Job distribution is policy-controlled. Unapproved employers may have restricted visibility and limited matching until an admin approves distribution. TryKaam reserves the right to decline or restrict any employer account.

4. Job and assignment operations

Job details, assignment status, and shift reminders are coordinated through WhatsApp. TryKaam may pause AI-assisted responses at any time and move conversations to human-handled support when needed.

5. Payments

During the pilot, all payments are processed manually. Employers pay TryKaam directly — for example via UPI — and provide proof of payment. Worker payouts are tracked and confirmed manually by TryKaam. Platform fees may vary based on pricing configuration, employer-specific arrangements, or job-level settings. TryKaam will communicate applicable fees before transactions are finalised.

6. User responsibilities

All users — workers and employers — agree to:

• Provide accurate profile information and honest shift details
• Respond promptly to confirmations, assignment offers, and reminders
• Not misuse the platform, submit false records, or impersonate any person or business

7. Operational caveats

TryKaam is a live pilot. Workflows, features, and policies may change as the system evolves. Some platform responses are assisted by AI and may occasionally require manual correction. TryKaam may suspend or terminate accounts for abuse, repeated no-shows, fraud risk, or violations of these terms.

8. Liability

TryKaam provides a pilot operational platform and does not guarantee uninterrupted service. We make reasonable efforts to ensure reliability but cannot be held liable for disruptions, delays, or errors inherent to pilot-stage operations. Nothing in these terms should be interpreted as legal, tax, or financial advice.

9. Changes to these terms

TryKaam may update these terms as pilot operations evolve. Updated terms will be published at this URL with a new effective date. Continued use of TryKaam after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
