Privacy Policy
Effective date: April 4, 2026 · Applies to: Pilot launch, Ernakulam, Kerala
1. Scope
This policy explains how TryKaam collects and uses personal data during the pilot launch in Ernakulam, Kerala. By using TryKaam — whether as a worker or an employer — you agree to the practices described here.
2. Data we collect
We collect the following data in the course of operating TryKaam:
- Phone number and WhatsApp conversation content
- Worker profile information — skills, preferred areas, and availability
- Employer profile information — business name and contact details
- Job listings, application records, shift assignments, and payout history
- Payment proof files uploaded through WhatsApp or admin operations
- Operational logs — AI run logs, action logs, and audit records
3. How we use your data
Your data is used exclusively to operate TryKaam. Specifically, we use it to:
- Run staffing workflows through WhatsApp
- Match workers with suitable jobs
- Manage manual payment tracking and payout confirmations
- Provide support and resolve disputes
- Improve safety, reliability, and service quality during pilot operations
4. Storage and access
Data is stored in Supabase-managed infrastructure. Files — such as payment proof images — are kept in private storage buckets and accessed only via signed, time-limited URLs. The admin dashboard is restricted to authorised internal team members.
5. AI usage
TryKaam uses AI to assist with conversation orchestration and shift coordination. Backend validation controls are applied before any database changes are made. AI prompts, responses, and action metadata are logged for operational review, quality improvement, and safety purposes.
6. Pilot limitations
TryKaam is currently a pilot-stage service. Payment workflows involve manual operations. Some actions may require human review or admin intervention. Processes and data practices may evolve as the pilot progresses.
7. Data sharing
TryKaam does not sell user data. Data may be shared with third-party service providers that are necessary to operate the platform — for example, infrastructure providers and messaging providers. These providers are bound by their own data protection obligations.
8. Retention
TryKaam retains operational and compliance-relevant records for as long as necessary to run the pilot and handle disputes, legal obligations, and financial reconciliation. When records are no longer needed, they are deleted or anonymised.
9. Contact
For privacy questions or data requests, contact TryKaam support through the official TryKaam WhatsApp channel. You can also reach us at contact@trykaam.com.
